Biography:
John became interested in woodworking while on the job photographing the iconic American furniture artist Wendell Castle. He was amazed by how Castle combined different species of wood into such splendid, moving works. He knew he had to play with such combinations himself, albeit on a smaller scale.
He hopes what results is beautiful, useful, and used.
He lives with his wife, the writer Kim Ode, and his two teenage children in Edina, MN.
